Fife's Third Sector Strategy Group and Fife Voluntary Action launched a new strategy for Fife's Third Sector, today, Thursday 30 November 2017 - exactly 2 years since the launch of the Fairer Fife Commission's Report which recommended developing such a document.
"The Department for Works and Pensions roll out of Universal Credit starts in Fife on 6 December. It’s likely that there will be an increase in people applying for a crisis grant."

Due to changes in their internal procedures, the Giving Committee will now consider requests for main and major revenue and capital awards at four meetings over the course of 2018. This is a change to the 2017 schedule which included six meetings.

Schools, charities and community groups can apply for grants of up to £5,000 for projects with a charitable purpose which benefit the community as a whole.
